The Clairvoyant Billiard Ball

Traditional * Improved

F.A.Q.

Q: Isn't this a Magic 8 Ball®?
A: No. Magic 8 Ball® is a trade mark of Tyco® toys. The Magic 8 Ball® is a plastic toy. This is a web application. It is called "The Clairvoyant Billiard Ball." Thank you for paying attention.

Q: Aren't there enough Magic 8 Balls on the 'net?
A: First of all, this isn't a Magic 8 Ball®. Second, there are now. Other internet simulations of future-predicting billiard equipment don't cut the mustard. Some are just cheap stock photos of Magic 8 Ball®s. Others are silly LEGO® contraptions that always say "OUTLOOK NOT SO GOOD." This Ball is still under rapid development, but it is already 100% true-to-form.

Q: I don't think anybody even asked you these questions, much less frequently.
A: I get this one a lot. While it is true that no one has asked me these questions, I am sure they are the questions that would be on people's minds if they cared about this page at all.

Q: I don't think that there was any "popular demand" to bring this Magic 8 Ball back.
A: For the last time, it is not a Magic 8 Ball, and it depends on what you mean by popular. My ex-wife asked me to bring it back on several occasions. While I enjoy not doing things she asks me to do, as it lets me re-assert myself as a bachelor, I also still enjoy doing things to put a smile on her face. So here we are.
